Cobb EMC Board of Directors elects new officers

During the regularly scheduled monthly meeting of the Cobb EMC Board of Directors yesterday, September 25, 2012, the board elected new officers through secret ballot. Ed Crowell, District 1, was overwhelmingly elected to serve as the board chairman.  David Tennant, District 6, was elected as vice-chairman and Eric Broadwell, District 9, was elected secretary/treasurer.  All were elected on the first ballot.

The new officers will serve in their positions until September, 2013.  Eleven EMC members were in attendance at the first open format board meeting held at Cobb EMC since the election of new board members in all 10 Cobb EMC districts.

Crowell said, "It is an honor to have my colleagues give this vote of confidence after the past six months of working together. I appreciate the trust they have placed in me."
