Our course of webinars this summer will be led by veteran teacher Cindy Bryant, LearnBop's Director of Learning.  Cindy has years of experience in the classroom, has won a Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics Teaching, and is a former member of the NCTM Board of Directors.  She also simply loves math!

DESCRIPTION:
The CCSSM have been the source of much debate lately.  But the bigger question is about mathematical literacy.  In this session we discuss the why, what, and how of math literacy.

TOPIC
: RtI=Response to Inequities--Providing an Equitable Mathematics Program for All!
TIME: Thursday, June 27, 11AM-12PM (EST); Tuesday, July 30, 2PM-3PM (EST)
DESCRIPTION: One of the biggest hurdles facing math educators is providing an equitable math program.  In this session we will discuss ways to respond to student inequities to provide maxiumu opportunities for learning math.

TOPIC: Details in the Data: Using Data to Improve Instruction
TIME: Thursday, July 11, 2PM-3PM (EST); Tuesday, August 6, 3PM-4PM (EST)
DESCRIPTION: Student performance data gets the most attention when data reports from end-of-year assessments are reviewed, which may be months after a topic was covered.  In this session we will focus on the power of collecting and using data throughout the school year to guide and impact instruction.
