Audition This Week for MLK Celebration

Slots are limited, so RSVPs are required.

Residents interested in being a part of Cobb's 26th anniversary celebration honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will have two opportunities to audition this week.

The first is at 6 p.m. Thursday and the second is at 10 a.m. Saturday. Both auditions are at the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre in the Cobb Civic Center at 548 South Marietta Parkway in Marietta.

The celebration will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 16 at the Cobb Civic Center. The theme will be "Celebrate: the Life, the Dream, the Legacy".

The event is free and open to the public. It will include the annual presentation of the “Living the Dream” award to a community member who demonstrates the ideals King exemplified.
