Don't throw this out, for your own protection read the contents. I wrote about this several months ago. To recap the article, this letter allows you, for $5.00 per month, .

They will pay for repairs up to $5,000. They will take care of all the paper work and even call the contractor. All you do is call an 866 toll free number and someone will come out within 24 hours.

This is something I proudly worked to have for our citizens. The City receives many calls from homeowners thinking the city is somehow responsible for the water line on private property. WRONG!

Having gone through this several years ago I know that you will go through a grueling experience finding a plumber and then the matter of big bucks to repair the problem.

Sometimes it takes days to get someone out in a hurry so you have to go back and forth to the meter to turn the water off and on. So for $5.00 a month this is a real bargain.

No, I don't get a cent but the satisfaction that I pushed this through. The City simply had to endorse the program via a resolution and we did so unanimously.
