Carl Moon Passes Away at 82

Funeral services for Carl Moon, an 82-year-old Austell resident who died Tuesday, are set for Friday at 1 p.m. at in Powder Springs.

Rev. Darrell McGinnis and Rev. Herschel Tibbitts Officiating, according to his obituary from the funeral home.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Moon of Austell; son, Phil Moon, and his wife, Stacey, of Austell; daughter, Zann Moon of Austell;  brother, Harold Moon of Acworth; and grandsons Steven Moon and Joseph Tribble, both of Austell.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to or Clarkdale United Methodist Church.
