Charles Ridge Dies at 60
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory.

Charles Edward Ridge, a 60-year-old Powder Springs resident, passed away on Saturday.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, according to his obituary. Interment will follow at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton with full military honors.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born in Nashville, Ridge lived most of his life in Cobb County. He retired from the Marines after 21 years of service.

Afterwards, he worked at Circuit City as a service manager for 16 years before retirement. He was a member of GracePointe Church in Dallas.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mai Dean Ridge, and his granddaughter, Olivia Ridge.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy Ridge; children, Richard Ridge and wife Amanda of Rockmart, and Christie Worley and husband Carey of Hiram; father, Jimmy Ridge of Acworth; sisters, Mai Mercer of Acworth, Nancy Sharpton and husband J.R. of Dallas, and Dorothy Kent of Acworth; and grandchildren, Alyssa, Nicholas, Chace, Jonathan, J.T., Timothy, Hannah and Joshua.
