Here are recent incidents responded to by Powder Springs police.

Oct. 6
Theft: A Powder Springs woman told that when her roommate in the 4000 block of Old Austell Road moved out, she took a Comcast digital cable box with her.

Burglary, Forced Entry: A Powder Springs man said his family left town at 2 a.m. on Oct. 7, and when they returned at 1:10 a.m. on Oct. 11, they noticed their house had been broken into. Missing from the house in the 3000 block of Mistymorn Lane was a 32-inch flatscreen TV, a 52-inch flatscreen TV, and an HP laptop computer. It appeared that the burglar entered through the garage door.
Burglary, Forced Entry: When police arrived at the house in the 3900 block of Brownsville Road that evening, the homeowner hadn't yet entered. Three officers cleared the home, which had been broken into through the backdoor. Identified as stolen were three bags of silver coins, paper currency, and a Jaeger LeCoultre watch he said he bought in the 1940s.
