Dole Recalls More Salads

The move comes from Listeria monocytogenes, an organism that can cause foodborne illness that turned up in a random sample test by the Food and Drug Administration.

In its , Dole has voluntarily recalled nearly 2,600 cases of its "Hearts of Romaine" bagged salad.

The bags are coded 0540N165112A or B, with a use-by date of June 26 and UPC 7143000956. The product code and use-by date are in the upper right-hand corner of the package; the UPC code is on the back below the barcode.

No other salads are included in the recall.

The salads were distributed in nine U.S. states: Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
