Driver Strikes, Kills Man in Mableton
Charges aren't expected against 26-year-old Powder Springs resident Ariel Britton, who was uninjured.

Charges aren’t expected against a Powder Springs woman who fatally struck a man on Mableton Parkway in Mableton late Thursday.
Ariel Britton, 26, was traveling southbound on the road in her 2011 Toyota Carolla when, at the intersection of Boggs Road, the man walked in front of her car, according to a Cobb County police news release. Britton was uninjured.
Police are asking for help identifying the man. He is described as an older white male, about 6 feet tall, and just under 200 pounds. He had short light brown hair and was wearing blue jeans, a blue jean jacket, and black military-style boots. He also had on a black cowboy string tie with a golden eagle.
