'Eating Ramen' at the Book Worm

Author Ellie Byrd stopped by the store on Saturday for her first signing.

Ellie Byrd, the author of Eating Ramen and CEO of ForumSherpa, an organization that aims to strengthen leaders and businesspeople, visited the  on Saturday for her first book signing.

Byrd also offered advice and handed out packs of Ramen Noodles to those who bought copies.

In Eating Ramen, Byrd details her experiences struggling through economic hardships and ending up on top. She said she hopes the book will be inspirational to those economically hurting.

Byrd describes the book as a "general viewpoint" of her own struggles. She said she will eventually hold contests to find co-authors for spin-off books with more specific focuses—for example: Eating Ramen: For College Students.
