The Cobb Safety Village will be open to the public Sunday, Oct. 28 from 3-6 p.m. Visitors will see a child-size representation of the county and to learn safety techniques. Public safety personnel at the center teach students how to react to fire, crime and disaster emergencies, along with drug and alcohol awareness. The village includes a replica of house complete with fire dangers, and a town village with storefronts and roads to teach pedestrian safety.
