Friday Preview: Hawks, Indians Get Down to Business

Beach (5-5) at Hillgrove (10-0) – The Beach Bulldogs had to play the state’s top 5A team last week, losing to Camden County, 62-0. Tonight Beach travels to the state’s third-ranked team, , for the first round of the state playoffs. Hillgrove was a perfect 10-0 on the season and held teams to just nine points per game.

Benedictine (5-5) at McEachern (9-1) – looks to avoid an early-round exit from the playoffs as it’s done in each of the last two seasons. Benedictine allowed more points, on average, this season than it scored and has won a playoff game on the road.
