Herchel Clifford Kight: The 83-year-old of Powder Springs died Aug. 12, 2013.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Bellamy Funeral Home Powder Springs Chapel with the Rev. Jason Lowdermilk officiating.  Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home & Crematory 

Georgia E. Raines: Nov. 21, 1919 – Aug. 11, 2013. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Harmony Grove Baptist Church in Marietta with the Rev. Charles Walker and the Rev. Tommy Merritt officiating. Interment will be in Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Marietta.

Robert A. Rutledge: May 21, 1923 – Aug. 4, 2013. A memorial service will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, at First Baptist Church in Willmington, N.C., with the Rev. Frank Hawkins officiating.

Contributions may be made in memory of Robert to Gr8 Hope Foundation in Houston, Texas, at www.gr8hopefoundation.org.

Mary Kathrine Kirk Underwood: Dec. 26, 1918 – Aug. 12, 2013. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Marietta First Baptist Church Chapel with Dr. Nelson Price and the Rev. Dean Hunter officiating. Interment will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.

Contributions may be made to Roswell Street Baptist Church Missions Fund, 774 Roswell St., Marietta, GA 30060; or Marietta First Baptist Church Missions Fund, 148 Church St., Marietta, GA 30060.

The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

Harry "Roscoe" Willard Blackburn: Dec. 19, 1922 – Aug. 11, 2013. Service will be graveside at the Kennesaw Memorial Park Aug. 14 at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Lillian Hillhouse Castleberry: Sept. 12, 1919 – Aug. 10, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, in the chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Road, Marietta, with Dr. Lee Mabry and the Rev. Lee Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park.

Flowers will be accepted; however, contributions may be made in her memory to MUST Ministries or WellStar Community Hospice.

William Scott Lucas: March 20, 1955 – Aug. 10, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, in the chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory with Phillip Satterfield officiating.

The family will receive friends from noon until the service.

Robert L. McGuire: Dec. 19, 1926 – Aug. 11, 2013. Services will be scheduled at a later date. 

Joe Franklin Norsworthy: July 31, 1952 – Aug. 10, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, in the chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Randy Cheek officiating. Interment will be at 2 p.m. at the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Nicholas "Nick" B. Parry: July 28, 1963 – July 29, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at Mt. Paran Central Church of God in Atlanta. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta. He will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
