Dilmas H. Morris Jr.: The 76-year-old of Powder Springs died Aug. 16, 2013. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Bellamy Funeral Home Powder Springs Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Bellamy officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Cemetery. 

The family will receive visitors Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Eloise Williams: The 78-year-old of Dallas died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 17, at 2 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors at Tabernacle Baptist Church Saturday, Aug. 17, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home & Crematory

William Lovic Cannon: Dec. 15, 1933 – Aug. 14, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Aug. 17, at noon in the chapel of Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Powder Springs with Pastor Frank Bernat and the Rev. Tommy Willingham officiating. Interment will be at Cheatham Hill Cemetery in Marietta.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Masonic Children’s Home of Georgia in Macon, or Calvary Children’s Home in Powder Springs, in memory of Mr. Cannon.

Gloria Houston Spence Edwards: May 21, 1926 – Aug. 13, 2013. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with the Rev. Dean Hunter officiating. Interment will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to Wellstar Community Hospice, 4040 Hospital West Drive, Austell, GA 30106; or First Baptist Church, 148 Church St. NE, Marietta, GA 30060.

Madeline Mozelle Jackson: Aug. 14, 1947 – Aug. 12, 2013. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the America Cancer Society, In Memory of Madeline M. Jackson, 1825 Barrett Lakes Blvd., Suite 280, Kennesaw, GA, 30144.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon and 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory Macland Chapel in Powder Springs.

Humphrey Rickman "HR" Snyder: June 12, 1929 – Aug. 15, 2013. Funeral services will be held at Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta on Sunday, Aug. 18, at 2 p.m. Dr. David Chauncey of Eastside Baptist will officiate and a prayer at the graveside will be led by the Rev. Lindy McGowan. Interment will be at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory

Robert L. McGuire: Dec. 19, 1926 – Aug. 11, 2013. Services will be scheduled at a later date. 

Nicholas "Nick" B. Parry: July 28, 1963 – July 29, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at Mt. Paran Central Church of God in Atlanta. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta. He will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.

Tracie Janine Wright: March 7, 1964 – Aug. 15, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19, at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with the Rev. Mike Stephens officiating. Interment will follow at Copper Ridge Memorial Gardens in Blue Ridge at 3 p.m.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
