Michael Antonio Michael: Feb. 28, 1957 - July 24, 2013. Funeral services will be held 6 p.m. Sunday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with the Rev. Tom Gray officiating.

Contributions may be made to Michael A. Michael Donation Fund in care of Jesse Michael at any Wells Fargo Bank.

Family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Samson Adam Schell: July 22, 2013 - July 22, 2013. A funeral service officiated by the Rev. Cindy Blocksidge will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, July 29, at McEachern Memorial United Methodist Church in Powder Springs.

The family will receive friends at the reception following the funeral.

Jo Ann Thomas: April 3, 1939 - July 24, 2013. Funeral services will be held noon Monday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Dr. Don Mason officiating. Interment will be in Cheatham Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to Sandy Plains Baptist Church, 2825 Sandy Plains Road, Marietta, GA 30066.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon Monday at the funeral home.

West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory

Ruth Luella Morris: March 10, 1927 - July 26, 2013. Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Freddie William Shonkwiler: Sept. 27, 1933 - July 26, 2013. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with the Rev. Leonard Akers and officiating. Interment will follow at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton at 2:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hollydale United Methodist Church.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.

Joe Herbert Slay Jr.: Jan. 29, 1932 – July 24, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 28, at Olive Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Cheek officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Marietta. He will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.

Bryan L. Turbeville: March 13, 1941 - July 26, 2013. Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 28, at McEachern Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tommy Willingham, the Rev. Charlie Marus and Tanya Ghoreishi officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the McEachern U.M.C. Music Ministry.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the church.

Kirk Creek, Blake Creek, Tim Stephens, Mark Stephens, Curtis Creek and Greg Rorex will serve as pallbearers with Rodney Smith and Terry Smith serving as honorary pallbearers. Interment will follow at Peaceful Meadows Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, July 28, from 1 to 2 p.m.
