Hillgrove Baseball Looks to Keep Pace in Region

Here's what's happening in high school athletics in the Powder Springs-Lithia Springs area March 31.

The baseball team is an impressive 11-3 this year. The early-season success has led to a No. 2 state ranking for the Hawks. However, high rankings and a lot of wins don't necessarily mean you sit atop your region. 

Right now, Hillgrove is in a three-way tie for first place in Region 4-AAAAA with and . If the Hawks want to stay in first, they need to keep winning. They can help their cause this evening by beating region cellar dweller . The 1-11 Falcons will be at Hillgrove on Thursday for a 5:55 p.m. first pitch.
