Hillgrove Eyeing State Quarterfinals

After breezing through the first round of the state tennis tournament with a 5-0 win over Newnan on Tuesday,  is set to face No. 1 seed Colquitt County Friday.

The Hawks will have their hands full for several reasons. First, because they're the lower seed, Hillgrove will have to make the four-hour bus ride to Moultrie, where Colquitt County High School is located. Second, once the Hawks arrive in South Georgia, they'll be faced with the tall task of knocking off the No. 6 team in the state.

The Packers are 19-2 on the season and haven't lost a match since March 16. The winner of Friday's match will advance to next week's state quarterfinal.
