Hillgrove Looks to Continue Hot Streak

It looks like won't get any time to celebrate Thursday's big 5-3 win over defending state champion Harrison. Less than 24 hours after the victory, the Hawks will take the field again, this time against the team that's tied with them for first place in Region 4-AAAAA—North Cobb.

On Wednesday, the Hawks knew that if they could win their final two games of the week, they would have first place all to themselves in Region 4-AAAAA. With Harrison now out of the way, Hillgrove can now focus on North Cobb.

The Warriors enter Friday's game having won five of their last six, including a win over Harrison. North Cobb also handed Hillgrove its only region loss this year—a 7-5 extra inning Warriors win on March 22.

If the Hawks can get revenge, they'll almost assure themselves of a playoff spot.
