Hillgrove NJROTC 5K Inaugural Fundraiser Run

On October 11, the Hillgrove Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (NJROTC) will be hosting a fundraising run, a portion of the proceeds being donated to the Shepherd’s Men. The race will begin at 8:00 a.m., and will be held on the campus of Hillgrove High School. This Peachtree Road Race qualifier (# GA14067WC) will be run on a flat race route. Plenty of onsite free parking available. Registration will cover the race, and free t-shirt. Early registration, up to Sept. 28, is $20, late registration, from Sept. 29- Oct. 5, is $25, and race day registration is $30. T-shirts will not be guaranteed for registrants after Sept. 28. The Shepherd’s Men support the SHARE Military Initiative which provides assistance, support, and education to service members and their families during their recovery treatment and beyond. In addition, the program compiles data that is beneficial to policy and legislative change to provide for unfunded services. The Hillgrove NJROTC program prepares high school students for leadership roles while making them aware of their rights, responsibilities, and privileges as American citizens.
