Jearldine Davis Dies at 77

The family will receive friends at the West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.

Jearldine Bannister Davis, a 77-year-old Powder Springs woman, passed away Wednesday.

The family will receive friends at the West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday in the chapel of the funeral home, with Rev. Richard Wilkins officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens.

Born in Quantico, VA, Davis had lived in Powder Springs since 1975. She was retired from GE and was a member of Hollydale Baptist Church.

Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Dara William Davis. Survivors include her daughters, Patricia (Doug) Mallory of Powder Springs, Darlene (Don) Cagle of Powder Springs, and Beverly Davis (Rick) Morrow of Powder Springs; brother, Charles (Nancy) Bannister of Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Christy Scott, Jennifer Burger, Shane Nobles, Amelia King, Amanda Franklin, Seneca Mallory and Elizabeth Vaughn and 19 great-grandchildren.
