Mary Ann Eidson Dies at 77
A graveside service will be held at Arlington Memorial Park in Atlanta on Nov. 12 at 11 a.m.

Mary Ann Holcomb Eidson, 77, passed away on Thursday from complications with cancer at Tranquility Hospice in Austell.
She was born on Feb. 3, 1934 in Tate, GA to James Linton and Eula Kate Holcomb. Ann was a graduate of Tate High School and the Atlanta Business School.
She married William D. Eidson on May 25, 1957 at Rock Spring Presbyterian Church, where she was an active member and sang in the choir for more than 35 years. She was employed by the Stromberg-Carlson Company and later decided to become a homemaker and community volunteer for the majority of her life.

She and her husband lived in Decatur for 42 years and Powder Springs for 8 years.
She is survived by her husband William D. Eidson; daughter Carla Eidson Pierce, son-in-law Jeffery A. Pierce, and grandson, Jason M. Pierce; sons, J. Chris Eidson and Charles A. Eidson and their families. She is also survived by her brothers, J. Linton Holcomb Jr. and R. William Holcomb and their wives, along with several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her step-son, William D. Eidson Jr., her sister, Louise Holcomb Blackledge and her husband.

A graveside service will be held at Arlington Memorial Park in Atlanta on Nov. 12 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Karen Allamon of Rock Spring Presbyterian Church officiating the service.
