Updated: Trio Robs Lithia Springs Verizon
Three young males with covered faces entered the store with a shotgun this morning and stole phones, accessories, cash and a clerk's personal items.

Three young males, one believed to be armed with a shotgun, robbed the on Thornton Road in Lithia Springs about 10:30 a.m. today.
They had their faces covered and stole phones, accessories, a small amount of cash, and a clerk's personal items, said Stan Copeland, chief deputy with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
No shots were fired and no one was hurt. The trio left on foot, but a vehicle is believed to be involved, Copeland said.

Authorities are looking at nearby surveillance video to see if they can clearly identify the vehicle. There aren't any suspects yet, and the Major Case Unit of the sheriff's office is overseeing the investigation, Copeland said.
Police were on scene for about an hour following the robbery.

The store remained closed this afternoon. There didn't appear to be any employees inside, and the parking lot was cleared.
A few customers slowly drove by the store next to , noticed it was closed, and drove off.
