New Barbecue Restaurant Now Hiring

An East Cobb barbecue restaurant is soon set to branch into West Cobb, and it is currently seeking employees to fill several positions.

Cobb residents can currently find Sam’s BBQ-1 on Lower Roswell Road in Marietta, but those traveling down Dallas Highway may have seen the sign for a future location in the Village Green Shopping Center.

As of Sunday, a poster on display at the restaurant’s future location announced that servers, busboys, kitchen staff and other employees are being sought. Those interested in any of the positions are asked to call 678-574-8828 to schedule an interview. Job seekers can also visit Atami Steak & Sushi on Cedarcrest Road in Acworth to get more information.

The website for Sam’s BBQ-1 said the West Cobb location was slated to open in the spring of this year, but more recent information was not posted on the site.
