Newell Rubbermaid employees built homes around the world with Habitat for Humanity in new $1 million partnership
On Wednesday, June 19, Newell Rubbermaid employees around the world came together to build homes in partnership with qualified, working families kicking off a substantial two-year, $1 million global partnership with Habitat for Humanity International.
To celebrate, Newell Rubbermaid (NWL) held its first-ever Global Day of Service encompassing 73 volunteer sites in 21 countries, as employees came together to donate their time and talents to improve the local communities where they live and work. This was Newell Rubbermaid’s first ever global philanthropic partnership.
In Atlanta, 350 NWL employees volunteered at 12 service projects, including five Habitat builds.
