Drivers won't get to drive on a completed Powder Springs Road this week as planned. Construction crews still have to install a paver and put up a guardrail, and the opening date has been moved to Aug. 30, City Manager Brad Hulsey announced a few minutes before a called meeting of the Powder Springs City Council.
