Ruth Lindsay Dies at 80
Visitation is scheduled for Monday, with funeral services set for Tuesday.

Ruth Lindsay, an 80-year-old Powder Springs woman, passed away on Saturday.
The family will receive friends Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Funeral services are set for 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park in Marietta.
A native of Atlanta, Mrs. Lindsay moved to Cobb County in 1962. She was a homemaker and was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Austell, where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Lindsay, in 2000.

Survivors include three children, Bryant Lindsay and wife Vicki of Powder Springs, Janice Robinson and husband David of Powder Springs, and Mark Lindsay of Douglasville; two sisters, Flora Knight, of Ellenwood, GA and Barbara McFarland of Dallas, GA; and five grandchildren.
