Senior Talents Help Fund Activity Center
Proceeds from Saturday's event will go toward the Bill "Papa" Morris building.
The 2011 Senior Citizens Talent Show Fundraiser Luncheon was held on Saturday at the . Proceeds will go toward the 's activity building, which is dedicated to Bill "Papa" Morris. Morris was a volunteer at the center and was its president from 1997 to January 2010.
In 2007 , Morris was honored as the Powder Springs Senior Citizen of the Year for his service in the community. He passed away in May 2010.
Saturday's event showcased talent, door prizes, food, music and a silent auction.
