A vacant home on Hunter Road in Powder Springs will be the site tonight of a SWAT Team training exercise. Authorities will be training at the home off Highway 92 from 6 to 9 p.m. Residents in the area may see an increased number of sheriff's vehicles and other activity during this time, but should be aware that it is only for the training exercise. Hunter Road will be open to traffic, but signs placed in the area will remind drivers to slow down because of the training.
