Vincent Hunter Dies at 88
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, with funeral services following on Sunday.

Vincent Biggs Hunter, an 88-year-old Powder Springs man, passed away on Tuesday.
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Macland Road Church of Christ with Phillip Satterfield officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.

A native of Tennessee, Hunter moved to the Atlanta area in 1950. He retired from Delta Airlines as a supervisor after 40 years of employment, and was a faithful member of Macland Road Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. E.M. Hunter and William Thomas “Willie T” Hunter.
Survivors include, his wife of 61 years, Eloise M. Hunter; three children, Joan Hicks and husband Steve of Lincoln, AL, Larry Hunter and wife Lisa of Douglasville, and Kathy Wetts and husband Bruce of Torrance, CA; sister Louise Sloan of Madison, TN; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
