We’ve held our last Shabbat Service before moving to Kennesaw
Reform Jewish Congregation Ner Tamid held its last Shabbat Service before our move to Kennesaw. Our thanks to our host for so many years.

Excerpts from CNT President Kristine Goldstein’s comments on Shabbat
It is with mixed emotions that our Reform Jewish Congregation celebrated Shabbat services for the last time here, at Christ Lutheran church in West Cobb. We are eternally grateful to Pastor Rusty, the Board of Directors and the church members for graciously sharing their space with us for so long.
We recall with fondness the events we have had here, High Holidays, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, Passover Seders and our bi weekly Shabbat services, coming together here to worship, learn and fellowship for the past 6 years. We leave here with some great memories while looking ahead at the memories we are going to create in our new home in Kennesaw. Our last High Holy Day Services held at the Church will begin on Wednesday evening, September 4th.

As we finally move into our own space, we will remember the mitzvah bestowed upon us by the Lutheran church and its members. We will strive to emulate them by welcoming the stranger into our midst with open arms and hearts. We can only hope we do it with the same grace and tolerance as they have.
