Sunday 12:50 a.m.

According to the Georgia Lottery, the numbers that came up in Saturday night's Powerball drawing were 21, 24, 36, 42 and 45 with Powerball 15.

The prize for selecting all six numbers drawn was an estimated $300 million.

As of early Sunday, the lottery's website said no tickets sold in Georgia matched all numbers drawn, though two tickets matched the main five numbers without the Powerball. Each of those winning tickets are worth $1 million.

One other lottery player in the state matched four of the five main numbers and the Powerball, good for a prize of $10,000.

Original story

Lottery players have 300 million reasons to grab a Powerball ticket this weekend.

As of Friday afternoon, the jackpot for the multi-state lottery game stood at an estimated $300 million, according to the Georgia Lottery. The big prize has grown since June 26, rolling 11 times.

It’s $2 per play for a chance to win a jackpot 150 million times the cost of one ticket, but be forewarned—your odds of winning with just one ticket are 1 in 175,223,510.

Tickets purchased in Georgia weren’t very lucky in the last Powerball drawing on Wednesday. Players in the Peach State only matched as many as four of the five white balls.

To win the jackpot, one must match all five white balls plus the Powerball, though matching all but the Powerball nets a ticketholder a cool million dollars.
