• Savannah Goalball tournament aims to grow the sport for blind athletes (wtoc.com) — Wilmington Island will host the 4th Annual Savannah Goalball Invitational at St. Peter the Apostle School this weekend, bringing more than 80 blind and visually impaired athletes from across the country. Local Savannah students who are blind and attend mainstream schools will compete, while organizers use the event to raise awareness and grow youth and recreational goalball in coastal Georgia.
