Alleged Ghost Face Gangsters Indicted In Canton Stabbing

Six members of the white supremacist gang are accused of taking part in an assault reported in March in Cherokee County.

CANTON, GA -- Six people authorities say are tied to Ghost Face Gangsters gang have been indicted in connection to an attack on a man earlier this year in Cherokee County. A Cherokee County grand jury last week indicted each of the defendants on various charges related to the March 8 stabbing of a resident along Bells Ferry Road near Marietta Road in Canton.

According to warrants obtained via court records, the victim was stabbed twice in the neck and lower back sometime between 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. March 8 in the vicinity of 12840 Bells Ferry Road. The male victim was transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital where he was treated for his injuries.

  • Houston Halton Garner III (AKA, "Beau"): one count each of street gang terrorism, aggravated assault, simple assault and battery
  • William Jeff Goodman (AKA, "Jaygood"): two counts of street gang terrorism and one count each of aggravated assault and simple assault
  • Michael Lloyd Gravely: one count each of street gang terrorism and simple assault
  • Corey James Ray (AKA, "Skinny"): one count each of street gang terrorism and simple assault
  • Frankie Cain Gilley (AKA, "Cain"): one count each of street gang terrorism and simple assault
  • Heather Grace Rodgers (AKA, "Lil' Trouble"): two counts of street gang terrorism and one count each of aggravated assault, criminal trespassing and entering auto.

The criminal trespassing and entering auto charges against Rodgers stems from her allegedly taking a white bandanna belonging to the victim from his 1994 Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck.

Authorities say Ghost Face Gangsters are a white-supremacist gang affiliated with the Aryan Brotherhood. Primarily a prison gang, Ghost Face Gangsters has an estimated 3,000 members and, in 2015, Christopher Henry, who authorities said was a high-ranking member of the group, was charged in Savannah with running a major methamphetamine operation from behind prison bars.

On Monday, Cobb County officials announced the arrest of fellow Ghost Face Gangsters member Kevin Scott Sosebee, who is accused of shooting at a Cobb police officer who tried to conduct a traffic stop last week. The Mableton resident is charged with aggravated assault, possessing a weapon during the commission of a crime and probation violation.

Cherokee Sheriff's Office spokesperson Sgt. Marianne Kelley said five suspects remain held without bond at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center. Rodgers, she added, was released to another jurisdiction Nov. 14 for additional charges she faces.
