Arrest Warrants Issued For Teen Burglary Suspect

Nadre Edwards is accused of committing four burglaries in two Cherokee County subdivisions.

ACWORTH, GA -- Investigators with the Cherokee Sheriff's Office are on the hunt for a 17-year-old accused of committing residential burglaries in the southwest part of the county.

Four active arrest warrants have been issued for Nadre Edwards, 17, the agency said Tuesday on its Facebook page.

Edwards is accused of committing four burglaries in the Westland Mill and Centennial Lakes subdivisions, which are located off Highway 92 west of Woodstock Road in unincorporated Acworth.

The sheriff's office said Edwards frequents the Westland Mill subdivision and the area around Highway 92 and Interstate 75. Edwards may also be seen walking or riding a bicycle, the agency added.

Anyone who sees or is familiar with the teenager's whereabouts is asked to call 911 or sheriff's office detectives at 770-928-0239.
