Atlanta Braves' Heavy Hitters Spirit Team Visits Clark Creek ES
The Atlanta Braves' Spirit Team paid a visit to the students at Clark Creek ES STEM Academy.
WOODSTOCK-TOWNE LAKE, GA - From Cherokee County School District: The Atlanta Braves' Heavy Hitters Spirit Team visited Clark Creek Elementary School STEM Academy on Wednesday as the 2018 season opened this week, with a win at home against the Phillies!
The Braves' Drum Line marched through the halls of the school, accompanied by Blooper the mascot. A short video about the event can be seen on the CCSD YouTube channel.
The visit is part of a new partnership agreement with the Atlanta Braves this school year, which includes academic support like the Science of Baseball curriculum, incentives to encourage students to read more, and other special events, including a special Cherokee County Schools Night at SunTrust Park on Wednesday, April 18.
