Boston Students Collect Stuffed Animals For Child Victims
Boston Elementary's Junior Beta Club collected stuffed animals, which firefighters will distribute to children who are victims of fires, accidents or other tragedies.

Firefighters from Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services visited some very special students at Boston Elementary School on Tuesday.
The Boston Elementary School Junior Beta Club wanted to help with a community project, so they collected stuffed animals at the school to be used by the local firefighters.

The firefighters give the stuffed animals to children who are victims of a fire, car accident or any other tragedy.
Cherokee County Field Operations Chief Greg Erdely stated how much he appreciated the students for doing the project.

“Stuffed animals are a great technique for keeping children calm during a very traumatic event,” he said.
Cherokee County Firefighters Captain Frankie Martinez and Jordan Tkacsik visited the school last week to pick up the stuffed animals and to give students a tour of their fire engine.
