CCSD Senior Bowl Kicks Off Dec. 7 In Woodstock

WOODSTOCK, GA -- If you haven't had enough high school football, then you don't want to miss the Cherokee County School District's 2017 Varsity Brands Senior Bowl.

The game will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7 at River Ridge High School in Woodstock, and supports district seniors and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

The fourth annual showcase game celebrates CCSD high school senior football players, cheerleaders, marching band musicians and Junior ROTC Cadets. Admission to the game is $5.

Also underway are raffle ticket sales to raise $200,000 for high school football and band programs. One lucky ticket holder will win a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 Truck valued at $48,700 donated by Shottenkirk Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Canton.

Tickets are $5 each; the drawing will be during halftime at the senior bowl. You don’t need to be present to win; you must be 18 or older to win; taxes, tags and title to be paid by winner.
