Charter School's Angel Tree Helps Families in Need
The Angel Tree is part of Cherokee Charter Academy's Good Deeds program that helps disadvantaged CCA families throughout the year.
The holiday season will be a little brighter for 100 or so children, thanks to Cherokee Charter Academy’s annual Angel Tree.
The school accepted applications from families in need in November and CCA families and local church groups have been donating gifts like clothes, shoes, toys and gift cards since Thanksgiving week.
School volunteers will be busy wrapping and distributing the presents to the families in time for Christmas.
