Cherokee Educational Foundation Seeks Executive Director
Applicants should have considerable fundraising skills and a passion for public schools.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- The organization that raises funds to support the Cherokee County School District and its teachers, students and initiatives is in the market for a new leader.
The Cherokee County Educational Foundation is looking for a "dynamic, outgoing person" to serve as executive director. The ideal candidate would also have considerable fundraising skills, a flexible work schedule and a passion for public schools.
The foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports CCSD students and staff by promoting "teaching and learning and celebrating achievements," its website states.

Some of these initiatives include grants for schools, teachers and other staff; grants for students for academic and after-school/extra-curricular programs; and support for specific district initiatives.
