Cherokee Solicitor General Candidate Gains Endorsement
Cobb County Solicitor General Barry Morgan is endorsing Todd Hayes in the race to replace retiring Solicitor General Jessica Moss.

CANTON, GA — Cobb County Solicitor General Barry E. Morgan has endorsed Cherokee County Chief Assistant Solicitor General Todd Hayes in his bid to become the county's next solicitor general. Morgan has served as Cobb's solicitor general since 1998, and is one of Georgia’s longest-serving and most highly-regarded prosecuting attorneys.
"I am honored to have now been endorsed by two great solicitors-general, Jessica Moss and Barry Morgan,” said Hayes. “Mr. Morgan is one of the most respected Solicitors in the entire state, and has been a model of service with integrity for almost two decades. He has been a mentor of mine since he hired me as a Cobb County assistant solicitor general in 2006, and has never failed to provide wisdom and insight when I needed it most. It is with a deep sense of gratitude — and a commitment to live up to his example — that I accept his endorsement.”
Morgan described Hayes as “a tireless advocate for victims of violence and the police who serve the citizens of Cherokee County, while always protecting the rights enumerated in the Constitution of the United States, and the State of Georgia.”
