Driver Charged With Vehicular Homicide In Cherokee Crash
A 21-year-old Canton man died in the 4-vehicle crash in March along Hickory Flat Highway west of Jep Wheeler Road.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- A Canton woman was booked into the Cherokee County jail late last week on charges related to a fatal, four-vehicle crash in March that killed a 21-year-old Canton resident. Wendy Millican is charged with vehicular homicide in the first degree, DUI (multiple substances), reckless driving, weaving over roadway and driver to use due care, those records show.
She was booked into the county's Adult Detention Center during the early evening hours of Friday, July 21. Cherokee Sheriff's Office spokesperson Sgt. Marianne Kelley said Millican was released Saturday, July 22 with a bond of $31,446.
The four-vehicle collision was reported around 7:30 p.m. March 10 along S.R. 140 just west of Jep Wheeler Road near Woodstock.

The Cherokee Sheriff's Office previously told Patch that the vehicle driven by Millican was traveling westbound on the highway when it crossed the center line and collided with a vehicle driven by Corey Forman, 21, also of Canton.
That initial collision caused Forman's vehicle to cross the center line where it was hit by a third vehicle that was also traveling westbound. The first vehicle in the crash also struck a fourth vehicle, which was also going eastbound. That caused the fourth vehicle to leave the roadway and slide down a steep embankment, the sheriff's office added.

A driver and two passengers in the fourth car were not injured, and the driver of the third vehicle -- which had no passengers -- was not injured.
Millican, 44, was transported to WellStar North Fulton Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Forman was the sole occupier of his vehicle when the fatal crash occurred, the agency told Patch in March.
