Elderly Man Reported Missing in Woodstock

BREAKING: Kenneth Boland, 82, was last seen leaving his home on foot around 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- The Woodstock Police Department is asking citizens to be on the look out for a resident who has been reported missing.

Kenneth Boland, 82, was last seen Thursday, Oct. 13 around 2 p.m. leaving his home on foot. His residence is located in the Brookshire subdivision, which sits off Ridgewalk Parkway west of Interstate 575.

Boland is described as a white male who is 5'10'' tall and weighs 180 pounds. He has white hair and is in "good physical shape," Woodstock police say.

Woodstock police and members of Woodstock Fire and Rescue, Woodstock Parks and Recreation Department and Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services initiated search efforts Thursday evening as well as shared information through social media channels, but have been unsuccessful in locating Boland.

Anyone who sees Boland or has information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
