The statewide top 10 list, which can be viewed here, included several metro Atlanta high schools and is the first year that the rankings include graduation rates.
The list assigns schools gold, silver or bronze medals based on multiple factors, including AP exam results and performance of disadvantaged students.
Sequoyah has made the list each of the last five years. Data for the rankings is based upon the 2013-14 school year, according to the publication.
Out of the 50 states, Georgia ranked 21st nationally according to the percentage of medals earned by public high schools.
