49 Cherokee Students Advance To State Tech Fair
Students displayed they are tech-savvy at River Ridge High School, many advancing to the state competition.
From Cherokee County School District: Nearly 200 CCSD students presented projects across 15 categories on Saturday at the CCSD Technology Fair, held at River Ridge High School. Forty-nine students won first place in their grade level category, which means they will advance to the State Technology Fair in March. This year's Tech Fair was coordinated by Laura Akers, assistant principal at Little River ES, and Valerie Lowery, assistant principal at Canton ES STEM Academy. Categories included video production, digital game design, robotics, device modification 3D modeling and more.
