Fundraiser Held For Woodstock Officer's Son Battling Cancer
The young child, who is 6-years-old, has been fighting cancer since he was 18 months old, according to the police department.

WOODSTOCK, GA — Your Pie is joining the Woodstock Police Deparment in supporting a police officer and his 6-year-old son who is battling cancer.
Brittany Page, the Woodstock Police public information officer, told Patch Ezra King has been fighting cancer since he was 18 months old, when a tumor was found on his brain. Ezra's father is Woodstock officer Travis King.
"The King family means a lot to each of us at the Woodstock Police Department. Since Ezra's initial diagnosis at just 18 months old, we have watched this brave little boy fight a battle many of us will never know," Page said.

"We are fighting alongside the King family through each chemo treatment, each surgery and each physical therapy milestone. Over the years, our community has supported Ezra’s journey in a mighty way. We serve the greatest community, and Woodstock’s residents, visitors, businesses and city leaders continue to show us that through the generous support and encouragement of the King family.”

Page said Ezra was sworn in as a Woodstock junior officer on Sept. 2.
Your Pie, a pizza eatery in Canton and Woodstock, will host a fundraiser for Ezra at the two locations from Thursday through Sunday. According to the organizers, a percentage of sales and 100 percent of donations during this period will benefit the King family.
Hours of operation are 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Sunday.
The Canton location is at 2247 Cumming Highway, Suite 120, and the Woodstock location is at 285 Ridgewalk Pkwy., Suite 100.
"We thank our friends at Your Pie for their generosity and continued support of Cherokee County public safety personnel," Page said.
