Gold Swimmers Shine at State Championship Meet
Ninety-nine Chattahoochee Gold swimmers qualified to participate in the Age Group Short Course State Championship Meet at Georgia Tech.

After 3 days of competition at the Age Group Short Course State Championship Meet, Chattahoochee Gold finished strong, coming in third.
First - Swim Atlanta (2,039 points)
Second - Dynamo (1,482 points)

Fifth - Stingrays Swimming (572 points)
A special mention goes to new State Champion Nate Matthews who won the Boys (11-12) 200 Freestyle event.
Nate and Bear Breeze, Andrew Cameron & Nicklas Bohn also captured the 12 & Under Boys 400 Freestyle Relay Championship.
Gold team records were broken in the 11-12 Boys 200 Free, 200 Medley Relay, 400 Free Relay and 400 Medley Relay.
Leading the way for Gold with 30 individual points or more were Griffin Egolf (60), Nate Matthews (58), Nicklas Bohn (35), Anna Case (34), Ashley Case (33), Parker Ciaramella (33), Sophie Taylor (33) & Jordan Edwards (30).
Chattahoochee Gold declared these athletes as its Swimmers of the Meet: Griffin Egolf, Bear Breeze, Ashley Case, Nicole Fetcinko, Laurel Blase, Harper Johnson, Jordan Weems, Joseph Blackwell, Jack Adair, Kate Eaton, Maura McGlynn, Jordan Dunn, Mason Sommer, Andrew Cameron & Parker Ciaramella.
