Job Fair Scheduled For Jan 10

SMYRNA, GA — The Georgia Department of Labor's Cobb-Cherokee Employer Committee will hold a job fair next week in Smyrna.

Dozens of companies will be on hand for the fair, which is scheduled for 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10 at Smyrna Georgia American Legion at 160 Legion Drive.

The fair is free to job seekers, who are encouraged to come to network, with plenty of resumes and dressed in professional attire. Full- and part-time as well as seasonal opportunities will be available.

Some of the companies taking part in the job fair include Aflac, Baldwin Paving Company, city of Marietta, Cobb County School District Transportation Department, Cobb & Douglas Public Health, CommSouth Group, Futren Corporation, Six Flags Over Georgia, Sweet Job Spot, WellStar, CarMax Auto Finance, Sequim Asset Solutions and Sheraton Suites Galleria.
