KKK Fliers Distributed in Towne Lake
The fliers were found Wednesday morning in the Towne Lake Hills South neighborhood in Woodstock.
TOWNE LAKE, GA -- Residents in the Towne Lake Hills South neighborhood woke up to find a surprise solicitation Wednesday morning in their driveways.
The community was the latest in the area to become the site where Ku Klux Klan fliers were distributed during the overnight hours.
One resident, Gary Parkes, posted on Patch about the discovery, which he said didn't appear to target anyone specifically, as the fliers were placed in all of the driveways in the community.

The flier uploaded by Parkes apparently targets advocates for gender neutral restrooms, adding anyone who is "confused" about his or her's gender should "use a tree out in the back yard."
Cherokee Sheriff's Office spokesperson Lt. Jay Baker said the discovery isn't a new one for the agency.

"From time to time we hear about this in different parts of the county," he said. "Although inflammatory, there is no violation of the law (in) dispersing this type of material."
Towne Lake isn't the only area targeted by the elusive distributors and the hate-filled messages they spread. In July, residents in the Great Sky subdivision in Canton woke up to find the fliers in their neighborhoods.
