Lieutenant Graduates From FBI National Academy
Lt. Mark Hand has served with the Woodstock Police Department for more than 14 years.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- Another member of the Woodstock Police Department has graduated from the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.
Lt. Mark Hand recently returned to Woodstock following the course. Hand, who was a student in the academy's 264th session held April 4 through June 10, was among 213 law enforcement officers from 47 states, 21 international countries, four military organizations and eight federal civilian agencies taking part in the graduation.
Internationally known for its academic excellence, the FBI National Academy offers ten weeks of advanced communication, leadership, and fitness training for selected officers with proven records as professionals within their agencies.

In recent months, Woodstock police Capt. Kevin Culpepper also completed the prestigious academy.
National Academy courses are taught by some of the most knowledgeable and well respected experts in law, behavioral science, forensic science, leadership development, communication and health and fitness. Participation is by invitation only through a nomination process.

Hand has served with the Woodstock Police Department for more than 14 years, and returns as commander of the agency's Criminal Investigations Unit.

Hand joins more than 48,000 alumni of the FBI National Academy since its inception.
