Cherokee Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Lt. Jay Baker said the incident occurred on Friday, April 3 along Towne Lake Parkway near the entrance to The Arbors neighborhood, which sits just east of Publix at Rose Creek Drive. Baker said the landscaper, who was working along the thoroughfare, was not injured in the incident.

A witness to the alleged incident captured photos of the suspect and vehicle, which the sheriff’s office said was “instrumental” in tracking down Dotson.
